England Premier League
Sunday 3rd November 2019
Kick off at 2pm GMT
Venue: Selhurst Park
Match Preview:
Watch out Crystal Palace, the last time Leicester played they won 9-0! Roy Hodgson’s team have been preparing for this Sunday match and these two sides have started the season well so we should be in for a very entertaining game of football.
Palace are in 6th place with 15 points and have lost just once in their last five games. That defeat was to Manchester City so can be forgiven and the Eagles have had a really solid start. Last weekend they got a remarkable draw at Arsenal, as they were 2-0 down and fought back to 2-2 when all seemed lost.
The Eagles have lost just once at Selhurst Park and have won 8 points from their 15 so far. The one worry is that they are not scoring enough goals at home with just 4 so far, on the flipside, they have conceded just 3.
Leicester stunned Southampton and a few back pages with their brilliant 9-0 victory over the Saints, which set a new Premier League away record victory. The Foxes are easily having their best season since they won the title in 2016 and come into this match in 4th place with 20 points just 5 points behind Manchester City. They also have Chelsea 3 points ahead after their win over Watford this weekend.
Brendan Rodgers side have won 4 from their last 5 games, losing only to Liverpool in what was controversial circumstances (last minute penalty). Away from home their record isn’t as great, making up just 35% of their points. Then again when they switch, they can beat teams 9-0 on the road. The bottom line is Leicester are in a very good moment and will be full of confidence going into this match.
