Our £1000 Challenge got off to a good start with a win for Bayern in Tip 1, however bad luck hit Tip 2 when Salzburg failed to win despite dominating the game. Salzburg missed a penalty, had over 3 times as many shots on goal, dominated possession, yet they failed to even score (the first time in a home league match this season).
The 15/1 odds enhanced treble is still on track thanks to a win for Villa, just waiting on wins for Liverpool and Man Utd now.
Finally our Saturday Acca was unfortunate. PSV and Club Brugge had convincing wins, however Derby managed to throw away a 2 goal lead in injury time, and Real Madrid and Dortmund failed to win despite dominating their matches.
