We managed to avoid most of the upsets yesterday, however the upsets really screwed us over today.
My main focus is with AS Roma, that's the one which feels like a real kick in the teeth. Before drawing 0-0 at home to Parma today, Roma had won the last 4 times these two teams had met. To make matters worse, Parma had lost their last 8 consecutive away games, yet somehow they manage not to lose when they play 2nd from top Roma, one of two dominant teams in the Italian league.
So, Roma failing to win meant Challenge Tip 7 and Official Tip 150 both lost. At least everyone had plenty of opportunities to bank the original £20 stake for the Challenge as we were up to Tip 7.
Regarding Sundays acca, that was let down by more upsets, Anderlecht and Atl Madrid to name a couple.
Fortunately days like this don't happen often, but it still hurts when they do. It's time to get back to business tomorrow and start smashing those bookies again, it's days like this that make me even more determined to research more than ever in order to beat those bookies.
