Our first selection (Braga) are one of the strongest teams in the Portugal Primeira Liga, especially when playing at their home ground Estádio Municipal de Braga. They sit in 4th position but have a chance to climb above Sporting in 3rd if they win tonight. They have an impressive home record of 8 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss, scoring 23 goals and conceding only 8, which is only bettered by FC Porto and Benfica. Against tonight's opponents (Estoril), they have won their last 5 home encounters, and they beat Estoril 3-1 away from home earlier in the season, so Braga certainly have the psychological edge. Estoril are 3rd from bottom, just one point outside of the relegation places, and are on a terrible run of form, having lost their last 7 consecutive league games, scoring only 2 goals in the process. In total this season they have lost 6 of their 10 away league games and are really struggling for goals having only managed 6 away goals all season. This should be a straight forward win for Braga.
Our second selection (Asian handicap +0.5 RKC) should stand a great chance when you take into consideration Utrecht Reserves away performances. Away from home Utrecht Reserves haven't won any of their 11 league games, instead they have suffered 9 defeats and 2 draws, one of which was against bottom club Achilles 29. They score on average less than a goal per game away from home, and have conceded 28 goals in their 11 away league games, so their are definitely problems for them at both ends of the pitch. RKC are a mid-table team, so not the strongest in the league, however they have only lost 3 of their 11 home games, and they beat Utrecht Reserves away from home 3-1 earlier in the season. RKC also carry a greater goal threat, having scored 36 goals in their 23 games this season, and two of their players (Pieter Langedijk and Johan Voskamp) have already reached double figures this season. RKC have a good chance of winning this game, and with the draw covered, this selection should stand a very good chance.
