Our first selection (Asian handicap -1 Bayern Munich) have really stepped up their game recently now we are reaching the business end of the season. They have won their last 7 consecutive games, scoring 18 goals and conceding only 4 goals in the process, so they are certainly starting to show their class now. At their home ground, Allianz Arena, they have been very strong as usual, dropping points on two occasions only, when drawing games against Hoffenheim and FC Koln despite dominating both matches. Bayern's opponents today (Schalke) have a poor record away from home, winning just 1 of their 8 away games, and scoring only 5 goals in the process. They have also been going through a dip in form, scoring just 4 points from a possible 15, whereas Bayern have scored 15 points from 15. On top of that, Bayern comfortably beat Schalke 2-0 earlier in the season at Veltins Arena, so with home advantage this time, it should be a comfortable home win for Bayern Munich today.
Our second selection (Asian handicap 0.0,-0.5 Exeter) was only able to half cover the draw due to the odds being too short to cover the draw entirely. Having said that though, according to form, there is no way Exeter should need to have the draw covered as today should be a comfortable home win. Exeter have won an impressive 6 consecutive games, scoring 15 goals and conceding only 3 in the process. On top of that, they are unbeaten in their last 11 league games, winning 9 of them, and 7 of those 9 by 2 or more goals. Now if we compare that to the form of Crewe who haven't won any of their last 10 league games, and have only managed 4 goals in those 10 games, then Exeter surely must stand a great chance today. The only thing in favour of Crewe is their 2-0 home win against Exeter earlier in the season, however the form of both teams has taken a drastic turn since that game, and Exeter have home advantage this time round, which makes them strong favourites for the win this time round.
