Our first selection (Asian handicap 0.0 Moreirense) was the stand out pick of the day for me as i don't see Moreirense losing this game against newly promoted Feirense tonight. Moreirense aren't having a great season, down in 14th position, but with some confidence boosting form in the Portugal league Cup, which consisted of wins against Porto, Benfica, and Braga, which lead to them lifting the trophy. On top of that, they have twice beaten tonight opponents Feirense this season, 2-1 in the Cup, and 3-0 away from home in the league. Feirense have been very poor of late away from home, with 4 losses and 1 draw from their last 5 away league games, and possibly more worrying is that they conceded 15 goals in those 5 games. I don't expect a great game of football tonight, but i think based on recent head2heads this season and the fact that Moreirense have home advantage, Moreirense should be able to come away with at least a point tonight.
Our second selection (No Clean sheet - CD Alaves) should stand a good chance when you take into consideration Celta Vigo's recent form at Estadio de BalaÃdos. Other than losing their first two home games of the season, they have since gone on to win 7 of their last 8 home league games, with only a strong Sevilla side being able to put a dent in their impressive winning streak. In those last 8 home games they have scored over 2 goals per game, which gives them a good chance of scoring tonight also. Now Alaves are well organised defensively and will try their best to make life difficult for Celta, however Celta know this is a two leg Cup match, so it's vitally important to take a lead over to the second leg at Estadio Mendizorrotza, so they will be pushing hard to try and score tonight. Celta played Alaves recently at home, and laboured to a 1-0 win, largely thanks to a red card for Alaves, Celta will have learnt from this and will know better now how to break them down and what their defensive weaknesses are, and they certainly won't enter the game with any complacency. Therefore, despite Alaves being a defensive side, Celta should be able to find a way to score at least once tonight.
