Our first selection (Asian handicap -1 Liverpool) surely can't continue their dip in form for much longer, especially as they play this game at Anfield where they are usually incredibly strong. They should put out a fairly strong side today despite being against lower league opposition in Wolves, as they will be trying to change their recent fortunes. They are clearly missing Mane, however they still have plenty of goal threat in Firmino and Coutinho. Liverpool are still creating numerous chances, however they just haven't been taking them, but at some point these chances are going to start going in again and then they should be back to winning ways. Their opponents today (Wolves) play their league football in the Championship and have an away record of 4 wins, 5 draws, and 5 losses, which is very average. They could pose a threat on the break through Helder Costa as he possesses great pace, but on paper this really should be a straight forward win for Liverpool today, however with this being a Cup game, there is always the chance of an upset.
Our second selection (Asian handicap -1 Inter Milan) should be a dominant victory today. They are the most in-form side in Serie A with 6 consecutive wins in the league, which included an impressive 3-0 win against Lazio. Since the sacking of Frank de Boer, they have become a major force, and today they are up against bottom side Pescara who come into this game in terrible form. Pescara have 1 win all season having played 20 games and that was awarded. When they played Inter earlier in the season the match finished 2-1 to Inter, and Inter were somewhat lucky to manage to comeback late on to win. This time there will be no complacency and with home advantage there should be only one winner and that's Inter Milan who will be fighting hard for a Champions League spot.
