At time of posting, odds of 1.96

These selections can be found in France Ligue 2 and Scotland Premiership.

Our first selection (Draw no bet - Clermont) are one of the in-form teams in the French Ligue 2, going undefeated in their last 5 league games, and losing only 1 in their last 9 league games. They aren't big goal scorers but that goes for most teams in this league, which is why it's alway wise to try and cover the draw if the odds will allow it while still being worthwhile. Clermont are defensively strong at home however, conceding only 8 goals in 10 home league games, and have only 2 defeats in that time, one of which was due to an early red card. When they visited Auxerre earlier in the season, they came away with a 1-0 win, which on the balance of play was well deserved, so with home advantage this time they should be too strong for an Auxerre team who are struggling on their travels. Auxerre have only managed 1 win in 11 attempts away from home, and this is largely due to their inability to score, with only 7 goals from their 11 away games, and failing to score in 7 of their 11 away games. Clermont should be able to take at least a point from this game.

Our second selection (Aberdeen) are another in-form team, winning their last 4 consecutive games in all competitions, including an impressive away win at Hearts. At Pittodrie Stadium Aberdeen have a very strong defence, conceding just 6 goals in 9 games. The same can't said of Dundee FC's away defence, which has conceded 15 goals in 10 away league games. To make matters worse for Dundee FC, they are on a 4 game losing streak away from home, managing to score just 1 goal in the process, which isn't surprising considering they have only managed 7 away goals all season. When these two teams met at Dens Park, Aberdeen came from a goal down to win 3-1, so it would be a big surprise if they couldn't achieve another win tonight with home advantage this time. In terms of incentive, yes Aberdeen would probably admit themselves they won't catch Celtic, but a win tonight would take them above Rangers in 2nd place, so there is still strong incentive to win this game.
