They appear to be a country mile ahead of any other team in the league in terms of quality, and on paper you would expect them to beat all other teams whether playing home or away, with only 2 points dropped all season. Their opponents tonight (St Johnstone) are sitting in 5th position, just behind the big 4 clubs of Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen, and Hearts, and although they don't score many goals, they don't concede too many either. Having said that, when these two teams met at St Johnstone earlier in the season, the outcome was a dominant 4-2 win for Celtic, so with the game being played at Celtic Park tonight, this should be a safe 3 points for the home team.
Our second selection (Asian handicap -1 Club Brugge) should also be a dominant home win as Club Brugge are also very dominant when playing on their home ground, Jan Breydel Stadion. At home they have 9 wins, 2 draws, and 0 losses this season, scoring 29 goals and conceding 9, which certainly makes up for their more average away record. They can be very unpredictable away from home, losing 1-0 to tonight's opponents (Waasland Beveren) earlier in the season for example, however the last two occasions these two met at Jan Breydel Stadion, emphatic 5-1 and 4-2 wins for Club Brugge followed. Waasland Beveren are also a far better team with home advantage, as away from home they have struggled hugely for goals, scoring only 5 in 10 away games, which has lead to only 3 points being scored from a possible 30. Barring any upsets, this should be a comfortable home win for Club Brugge, which will give them a nice 3 point cushion at the top of the Jupiler Pro League.
