Our latest challenge is off to a slow but winning start as one of the selections was 'void', making the double a partial win.
Our first selection (Chelsea) did what everyone expected, and that was win. It wasn't with lots of possession or loads of chances, but they were clinical in front of goal and defended well. It was everyone's favourite villain Diego Costa who started the scoring, with a goal just before the half time break, and that was followed late in the second half by a headed goal from Gary Cahill. Hull were unable to score and Chelsea eased to a 2-0 win.
Our second selection (Draw no bet - Getafe) got off to a very bright start with Dani Pacheco putting Getafe in the lead after only 15 minutes. Mirandes continued to make life difficult though and scored the equaliser just 8 minutes after half time via Alex Ortiz to make the score 1-1. Neither team was then willing to over commit to trying to get the 3 points, which resulted in the game ending as a 1-1 draw, making our second selection 'void'.
