Our first selection (Draw no bet - Algeria) should stand a good chance. Algeria were one of the favourites for the tournament as they have a host of attacking talent in the likes of Islam Slimani, Riyad Mahrez, Yacine Brahimi, and Rachid Ghezzal to name a few. They only managed a draw though in their first game with Zimbabwe, which will have come as a big disappointment, so they will be looking to set things back on a winning path with a win against Tunisia today. Tunisia don't have the same level of talent in their squad although they do like to try and play a possession game and aren't afraid to attack, although that can leave them open at the back. They lost their first match to Senegal despite having more attempts on goal, which was a perfect example of quality over quantity. Algeria should be the team with the quality today, and with the draw covered, this selection should have a good element of safety.
Our second selection (Asian handicap 0.0 Panathinaikos) should stand a great chance on paper as Panathinaikos have one of the strongest home records in the Greece Super League. At home this season they have secured 5 wins, 1 draw, and only 1 loss, and have scored 12 goals yet conceded only 3 in the process, which is the next strongest home record behind Olympiakos. Their opponents Platanias FC also have a strong home record, however away from home they only have 1 win from 7 away games, and have only scored 2 goals in the process, so they are really struggling for goals on their travels. On top of that, Panathinaikos have a very good recent home record against Platanias FC, winning the last 3 without even conceding a single goal. Therefore, with the draw covered today, this selection should be very safe.
