These selections can be found in the England FA Cup.

Our first selection (WIN - AFC Wimbledon) could only manage a goalless draw when they met Sutton Utd at Gander Green Lane in the first attempt of this third round tie. However, looking back that result wasn't too surprising as AFC Wimbledon have failed to score in 7 of their last 10 away games, and Sutton Utd have now gone 4 home games without conceding. With AFC Wimbledon being the hosts this time round though, i expect a very different result. Wimbledon's home form recently has been much improved from earlier in the season, going their last 5 home league games undefeated and scoring 15 goals in the process. Yes they are still prone to conceding, but they are proving to be a big goal threat at Kingsmeadow, which could well make all the difference today. On top of that, Sutton Utd's form on the road is far less impressive than their home form. They have only 1 away win from 13 attempts this season, losing 9, and only managing 10 goals. These teams are separated by two divisions, and i believe that gap will be truly exposed tonight given that the league 1 side has home advantage this time round, therefore i expect a comfortable home win.

Our second selection (Draw no bet - Barnsley) also could only manage a goalless draw in the first attempt of this third round tie away to Blackpool. However, unlike the selection above, neither team has a far better home record compared to their away record. This game having to have an outcome though, will force Barnsley to give it the importance it deserves, and that could make the difference. In terms of general form, the edge has to be with Barnsley as Blackpool haven't won any of their last 5 games in all competitions, whereas Barnsley have only lost 1 difficult away fixture to Fulham in their last 6 games, and have won 3 of their last 5 league games. So the edge in team confidence would have to be with Barnsley tonight, especially given they have home advantage this time round. This may not be as straight forward as the above selection, but with the draw covered, there should be enough safety about this selection.
