Our first selection (Total goals - Over 1.5) in the Malaga v Real Sociedad game should be a comfortable win on paper. Both teams games contain over 3 goals per game on average this season, and when Malaga play at home their games average 3.5 goals and each home game this season has contained at least 2 goals. Their only draw also happened in their first home game of the season, so they are on a great run of 7 consecutive home wins. Their opponents today (Tondela) are currently bottom of the Primeira League with just 2 wins from 16 games, and away from home they have just 2 points from a possible 24. Their problem away from home is twofold, firstly they struggle for goals, scoring only 6 in 8 away games, which is an average of less than a goal per game, and secondly they concede far too many, with 17 conceded which is over 2 per away game. Therefore when visiting one of the top teams who are the 2nd highest home goal scorers and one of meanest home defences, Tondela will really have their work cut out. This should be a straight forward home win on paper.
