DoubleReading v QPR -
Asian handicap (0.0 Reading)AC Milan v Torino -
Draw no bet (AC Milan) At time of posting, odds of 1.86
These selections can be found in the England Championship and the Italy Coppa Italia.
Our first selection (Asian handicap 0.0 Reading) are going through a great patch of form, especially at the Madejski Stadium, where they have won their last 5 consecutive games, scoring 2 or more goals on each occasion, and only conceding a total of 3 goals in all 5 games. Reading are having a good season under Jaap Stam, they sit in 3rd position and have one of the best home records in the league, where they are very strong defensively, unlike when playing on their travels. They have already played tonights opponents QPR at Loftus Road this season, and came away with a well deserved draw after a strong 2nd half performance, so with home advantage this time they should stand great chance. QPR are coming off 2 straight wins so their confidence will be on the up as they have finally ended their 6 game losing streak in the league. QPR have actually performed similarly whether playing home or away, their lack of goals has been their major problem, with only 24 scored from 25 games and not many reliable goal scoring options. This should be a Reading win, and with the draw covered it should be a safe selection.
Our second selection (Draw no bet - AC Milan) finished runners-up in the Coppa Italia last season, narrowly missing out through an extra time winner from Juventus, so they will be motivated to try and go one better this year. AC Milan have been very strong at the San Siro this season, winning 7, drawing 2, and losing just 1 of their 10 home games, with their only home defeat coming back in September. AC Milan aren't big goal scorers, despite having the talented Carlos Bacca upfront but they are very strong defensively with the 3rd best defence in the Serie A. They have already played tonight's opponents (Torino) at the San Siro this season, and won 3-2 thanks to a Carlos Bacca hat-trick, which should give them a psychological edge. Torino were having a decent season, however their results have tailed off a bit with 3 losses in their last 5 games, and their away record in the league is pretty terrible with just 1 win from 10 away games, conceding over 2 goals per game in the process. Torino do possess a goal threat in Andrea Belotti, their teams top scorer this season with 13 goals but AC Milan will be well aware of his threat and will certainly not make life easy for him. Even though this is a Cup game, with home advantage and the draw covered, AC Milan should be able to get something from this game.
