Monday's Fixtures.

Double
Osasuna v Valencia - Asian handicap (0.0 Valencia)
Cambridge Utd v Leeds - Asian handicap (0.0 Leeds)

N.B. Double Suggestions are posted when the fixture choice is poor and the confidence levels aren't high enough for an official "Tipster's Double".

At time of posting, odds of 1.96

These selections can be found in the Spain Primera Liga and the England FA Cup.

Our first selection (Asian handicap 0.0 Valencia) is probably the better of the two selections, even though it's an away team who are having a bad season, which just goes to show how bad the fixtures are today. What still make this selection likely though is the terrible form and performances of their opponents Osasuna. Osasuna are a newly promoted team after going up via the playoffs last season, and they are really struggling in the top flight, overall they have a record of 1 win, 4 draws, and 11 losses from 16 games, scoring only 13 goals yet conceding 34. They are rock bottom in the league, haven't won a single league game at home all season and have scored only 4 goals in 8 home games, and on top of that they have lost their last 6 straight league games, scoring just 1 goal in the process. Now Valencia aren't a huge amount better, however it's significant enough to firmly believe they can get at least a draw from this game, especially as Valencia do have more attacking talent and usually always manage at least one goal, which is this case could well be enough for a win.

Our second selection (Asian handicap 0.0 Leeds) are on a great run of form in the Championship at the moment, they sit in 5th position and are on a run of 5 games undefeated, winning 4 and drawing the other. From an attacking point of view they don't seem to mind where they play, however defensively they are stronger with home advantage, although this has still only lead to 1 away league defeat in their last 6 away games, and that was to leaders Brighton. There opponents today (Cambridge Utd) fortunately aren't at the level of Brighton, they actually play two divisions below Leeds in League 2. They are however also in a good patch of form though, winning 6 of their last 7 league games. Yes the quality of opposition wasn't that of Leeds, but it does mean they come into this game with good confidence, which is why i've had to cover the draw. Also, Leeds could well rotate their team, hopefully not too much but this does bring a more unpredictable element to the match. On paper Leeds should come out on top in this game due to their higher quality, but caution is advised due to the nature of cup games.
