For starters it's a league match which gives some security regarding team lineups, and secondly Juventus have a perfect 100% winning home record this season, with 9 wins from 9 games, scoring 24 goals and conceding only 6 in the process. They are the defending League Champions of the last 5 seasons and have won 5 of the last 6 times they have faced today's opponents Bologna, including winning the last 3 home encounters. Bologna have performed very poorly on their travels this season, winning just 1 of their 8 away league games this season, and that was against bottom club Pescara who were reduced to 10 men after only 16 minutes. Barring any major shocks, this should be a comfortable 3 points for Juventus today.
Our second selection (Asian handicap -1 Tottenham) are in great form at the moment, winning their last 5 games, which included a 2-0 win over Premier League leaders Chelsea. Tottenham are one of two teams in the Premier League who still boast an unbeaten home record this season, however they can also boast having the meanest defence in the league, conceding just 14 goals in 20 League games. The difference just recently though is their goal scoring form, they are banging in the goals at the moment, with 15 goals scored in their last 5 games alone (3 per game on average). Aston Villa on the other hand are struggling for goals, averaging a fraction over 1 goal per game in the Championship, and away from home they have only managed 7 goals in 13 games, yet have managed to concede 14. Therefore, as long as Tottenham don't get complacent, this game should be a win for the home side.
