IMPORTANT: The fixtures are very poor once again today. Personally my honest advice would be to wait for tomorrow's fixtures, but if you insist on betting today, i feel this double is likely, however both selections are from Cup games and carry more risk, so caution is advised.
Our first selection (Asian handicap 0.0 Man City) is an interesting game. Man City look to be finding winning ways again after a very bad spell by their standards, they have now won 4 of their last 5 games, losing only 1-0 away to Liverpool. Guardiola is definitely looking a bit grumpy these days, the teams in England are very organised and good at stopping the bigger clubs from playing pretty football, maybe he's not used to not having everything go his way. Either way, there looks to be a steely determination forming in the squad now, and their opponents tonight (West Ham) will have their work cut out. West Ham's form has also shown signs of improvement recently, winning 3 of their last 5 games, with their two losses being against Leicester where i felt a draw would have been a fair result, and against Man Utd where they had to play most of the game with 10 men. I think West ham will put up a decent fight tonight, but i see Man City finding a way to go through to the next round of the FA Cup.
Our second selection (Asian handicap -1.5 Monaco) should be very likely on paper, but this being a Cup game, anything can happen. Monaco have been a real force at home this season, winning 8, drawing 1, and losing 1 of their 10 home league games. Some of their wins have had huge score lines too, like 6-2 against Montpellier, 6-0 against Nancy, 4-0 against Marseille, and 5-0 against Bastia, so they are definitely more than capable of recording big wins. With their opponents tonight (AC Ajaccio) having one of the poorest away records in the division below (Ligue 2), a big Monaco win looks likely. AC Ajaccio haven't recorded a single away win in the League all season, having only managed 4 draws and 5 losses from 9 away games, scoring just 5 goals and conceding 14 in the process. There could well be rotation from Monaco tonight, but they have the quality and home form to record a big win over a team really struggling away from home.
