Our first selection (Goal line - Under 3) in the Italy Super Cup Final between Juventus and AC Milan should be a fairly cagey encounter. These two teams have had many low scoring outcomes in the past with 6 of the last 8 in all competitions containing less than 3 goals, and 5 of those 8 containing no more than 1 goal. The other factor that should make this game a low scoring encounter is the fact that this is the final of a Cup competition, and finals where the outcome actually means potentially winning silverware makes teams play more defensively as they are more concerned about not losing than actually going out there to try and win. Therefore with only 4 or more goals making this selection lose (3 would make it 'void'), it should stand a very decent chance.
Our second selection (No clean sheet - Arouca) should also stand a good chance today, especially when you consider Guimaraes have scored more points and recorded more wins away from home than both FC Porto and Sporting, with only Benfica having a superior away record. Guimaraes are playing some great football away from home, scoring in all but one of their league away games, with their only failure to score coming away to FC Porto who have only conceded 4 goals at home all season. Guimaraes' opponents tonight are not at the same level as FC Porto however they do like to keep things tight at home, scoring only 6 goals and conceding only 6 in 7 home games. Their 3 clean sheets however have all come against teams lower in the league than Guimaraes and teams that are not of a high scoring nature, unlike Guimaraes who have scored the 4th highest number of goals so far this season. Guimaraes have scored 2 goals in each of their recent away encounters at Arouca, and i expect them to be able to score again tonight.
