Our first selection (Asian handicap -1 AS Roma) have dropped 7 points behind leaders and defending Champions Juventus who they lost 1-0 to in their last match. This has put them more in a battle for the Champions League places as there is only 3 points between 2nd place AS Roma and 6th place Atalanta, however they will still be pushing to close the gap to Juventus as there is still plenty of time for changes at the top. This does mean however that they really have to get all 3 points tonight to carry on their impressive 100% home record of 8 wins from 8, scoring 24 goals and conceding only 6. Their opponents tonight (Chievo) are a mid table team who like to keep things tight. They are one of the lowest goal scoring teams in the league but they have also conceded one of the lowest amounts in the league, making them a tricky opponent to beat. Fortunately AS Roma have a lot of attacking strength and should be able to get the better of a defensive Chievo set-up. I expect Roma to get straight back to winning ways tonight.

Our second selection (1st half asian handicap 0.0 Braga) are usually the 4th place specialists behind the big three teams of Benfica, Porto, and Sporting, however they currently sit in 3rd position after a couple of poor results for Sporting. At home they are always strong and this season is no different, winning 6 of their 7 home league games, and drawing the other, scoring 18 goals and conceding only 5. Their opponents tonight are not having a good season, sitting 3rd from bottom with only 3 wins from 14 league matches, scoring less than a goal per game but being no stranger to conceding goals. They are also on a very poor run of form, losing 4 of their last 5 league matches, and their only wins have come against teams in the bottom 4 positions. This should be a straight forward home win for Braga tonight, although this match up was a draw last season so i've decided to focus on the 1st half and cover the draw as i feel it's unlikely Braga will be behind at half time.
