Our first selection (WIN - Borussia Dortmund) have dropped far too many points recently for their liking, and they have mainly been when playing away from home, so will be out to ensure maximum points tonight on home soil. Dortmund are always a big goal threat whether they play home or away, as can be seen by the fact that they have scored the same number of league goals home and away so far this season. Defensively however there is a massive difference, at home they have conceded just 4 goals in 7 league games, yet away from home they have conceded a disappointing 14 from 8 league games. Their opponents tonight (Augsburg) are the second lowest scoring team in the league with just 12 goals from 15 games, which actually gives Dortmund a good chance of keeping a clean sheet tonight. Therefore with Dortmund's strong ability to score, 1 goal could well be enough for a win tonight, although personally i expect them to score at least 2 goals.

Our second selection (Draw no bet - Eintracht Frankfurt) are having a very good season, and particularly at home where they are still undefeated after 7 home games, and that's including having opponents like Dortmund and Bayern, so they are without a doubt difficult to beat on home soil. They aren't big goal scorers but they are defensively strong, conceding only 12 from all 15 league games so far, which is the second best defensive record behind Bayern Munich. Their opponents tonight (Mainz) show more of a gung-ho style of play, scoring plenty but conceding plenty also, however most of the scored goals have been on their home ground, with only 1 per game being averaged away from home. I think home advantage will be key today, and a well organised Eintracht Frankfurt should be able to come away with at least a draw.
