Our first selection (1st half goal line - Over 0.5,1.0) in the Everton v Liverpool game was chosen because being a derby match, predicting the outcome can be less predictable than going for a goals selection, and this match also happens to involve the masters of the 1st half goal, Liverpool. In Liverpool's 16 league games this season, they have scored 21 goals in the 1st half of those matches alone, which is more goals than 7 other teams in the Premier League have scored in all 17 of their full matches (both halves) this season. On top of that, that's not including the goals scored by opposition in the first half of their matches, which gives this selection an even better chance. Liverpool always come out of the blocks charging, they overload the attack with so many players and plenty of width, and the opposition often look shell shocked initially, and often concede the early goal. I can see that happening tonight especially as Liverpool often seem to perform best in the big games, and with this being a derby, and most of Liverpool's title rivals winning over the weekend, they are sure to be pushing hard for the win tonight.

Our second selection (Total goals - Over 1.5) in the Athletic Bilbao v Celta Vigo game should stand a very good chance looking at how the season is going for both of these teams. Starting with Bilbao who always have an attacking threat with Artitz Aduriz who has scored 11 goals in 17 starts in all competitions and as a team they average nearly 2 goals per game at home in the league this season. Then looking at Celta Vigo, they have the worst defence outside of the bottom 3, with 29 goals conceded in 15 games, but along with that comes a strong goal threat in the likes of Iago Aspas. Aspas is in great form at the moment and has scored 10 goals in the last 9 games he's played in all competitions. I feel this game could be quite evenly matched, which makes the outcome tricky, and therefore i feel this goals selection could be the safer approach to take.
