These selections can be found in the UEFA Champions League.
As we saw yesterday, the Champions League games today are very difficult to predict this week, which was shown by results like Man City drawing at home against Celtic, and PSG drawing at home against Ludogorets. This is because many of the teams have nothing left to play for as they have either qualified for the next phase, won their group, or are guaranteed not to qualify. This makes team selection very difficult to predict, and also whether they will even be trying to win the match or just trying to make sure they don't get injured for a more important match.
Today again we have picked two selections which have a lot left to play for in the hope it can create some increased level of predictability. FC Copenhagen simply put have to win today's game in order to stand any chance of progressing to the next phase of the Champions League, and they are up against a team with nothing to play for as they are certain to finish bottom of their group. At home, FC Copenhagen hammered Club Brugge 4-0. Club Brugge have home advantage this time round, however they no longer have any real incentive to do well, and with FC Copenhagen having no fear of 3rd place being taken, they can throw caution to the wind and all out attack Club Brugge to try and secure that win. Therefore with the draw also covered, this selection should be fairly safe.
Our second selection (No clean sheet - Sporting) is another game packed with incentive, with Legia needing the win in order to take Sporting's place and qualify for the Europa League. Now Legia are the weakest team in this group, however they have strong incentive, as do Sporting, although for Sporting a draw would be enough, which means Legia will have the attacking incentive. Recently Legia have been in very high goal scoring form, managing to score 3 against Real Madrid and 4 against Dortmund, so to score 1 against Sporting should be achievable. On top of that, domestically they have regained their form, and have scored 16 goals in their last 5 league games. Legia are involved in high scoring games recently, and this could well be another as they seek the win, it wouldn't surprise me if they managed to get on the scoresheet tonight.
