If we compare that to their opponents tonight (Sittard), they have just the 1 win and 4 losses from their last 5 games, scoring only 5 goals yet conceding 12. Another factor is their home and away record, Helmond at home have been very difficult to beat, losing just 1 of their 7 home matches, where as Sittard away from home have just 1 point from 6 away games, they are also struggling to score (only 3 away goals scored), and they are leaking goals for fun, conceding a massive 17. Provided there are no shocks in this game, Helmond should have a good chance of leading by half time.
Our second selection (1st half goal line - Over 1) should also be very likely and this is largely due to the impressive home attack of Ajax Reserves. When playing at home, Ajax Reserves have more goals than any other team in the league by a margin of 9 goals. They have scored a massive 28 goals in just 8 home games, which is over 3 goals scored per game. On top of that, they have also conceded a fair few at home (12 in 8 games) which will also help our chances of 1 or more goals before half time as it doesn't matter which team scores. It's not all positives though, as Telstar try to keep things tight away from home, however they have struggled to hold off the Ajax Reserves attack when visiting in previous seasons and that will likely be the case tonight also. I would be very surprised if this game didn't have at least 1 goal by half time.
