Our first selection (Petrojet) are sitting in 3rd position in the Egypt Premier League and are currently undefeated in the 9 league games played so far, winning 5 and drawing 4. They aren't big goal scorers with only 10 goals in 9 games, however their defence is one of the strongest in the league, conceding just 4 goals, and when playing at home they have only conceded 1 goal in 4 home games. Petrojet finished in a mid-table position last season, so they have really hit the ground running this season, and their opponents today (El-Sharkeyah) are newly promoted to the top flight this season so will be sure to struggle against an in form Petrojet. El-Sharkeyah are level on points with bottom club Tanta, and have lost 6 of their 8 games so far this season, most of these by just the one goal but this isn't the highest scoring league in the world. With home advantage, good current form, and extra quality, this should be a home win for Petrojet today.
Our second selection (PSV Reserves) have really impressed when playing at home this season, winning all 6 of their home league games so far, scoring 18 goals and conceding only 7 in the process. Their away record is less impressive but they have home advantage today so that's not hugely important. Up until recently they were top of the league and it's just a slight dip in form away from home which has dropped them down to 4th position, 4 points of the top with a game in hand. Their opponents today (De Graafschap) were relegated from the top flight last season and have surprisingly struggled with the standard of their current league, sitting in 15th position and yet to win a single game away from home so far. They are a threat going forward when playing at home, however away from home they have only managed 5 goals in 6 away games, therefore with the draw covered and PSV Reserves having home advantage today, this selection should stand a good chance.
