Our first selection (Barrow) face Taunton for the second time this month after only managing a 2-2 draw which earned a replay for eighth tier Taunton last time, however that result doesn't sound as bad when you take into account Barrow were down to 10 men just before half time. Barrow play three divisions above Taunton, in the Vanarama National League, and so far this season they are unbeaten at home with 6 wins and 3 draws from 9 home league games, scoring 18 goals and conceding only 6 in the process. Although the difference in quality between lower leagues is less than the top divisions, there is still a 3 division gap here, and with Barrow having home advantage this time, on paper this should be a convincing win for Barrow tonight.
Our second selection (France) may be a friendly game, but i would still expect a home win, although this double is just a suggestion due to the fact that friendlies are often less predictable. France's recent record is really impressive, not losing in 90 minutes to any team for the past year, winning 13 of those 16 matches, and winning 7 of those 13 by 2 or more goals. It's uncertain what kind of team they will put out for this match but they have so much quality to choose from in the likes of Evra, Koscielny, Matuidi, Pogba, Kante, Payet, and Antoine Griezmann that any selection will make a very strong line-up. The Ivory Coast do have some quality of their own in the shape of Gradel, Kalou, and Bony, but it's not on the same scale as France, and therefore with home advantage, a France win is very likely even though this is just a friendly.
