Our first selection (Croatia U19) are currently top of Group 12 after convincing wins over Cyprus U19 and Faroe Islands U19. During those two games Croatia U19 scored 9 goals and didn't concede a single goal. Their opponents today (Montenegro U19) have also played two games and they have also been against Cyprus U19 and Faroe Islands U19, however the major difference is that they lost both of those matches, scoring just 1 goal yet conceding 3. Therefore, logic would strongly indicate that if Croatia U19 can convincingly beat both the teams that beat Montenegro U19, then Croatia U19 should be able to convincingly beat Montenegro U19 also. In fact they did play each other just over a year ago and Croatia U19 won 3-1, so another win should be very likely today.
Our second selection (Poland) are a good international side, maybe not one of the superpower sides like Germany, France, Spain etc but they are on the next level down from those, which makes them dangerous opposition for most teams. They are topping their World Cup qualifying group with 3 wins and 1 draw, and they have one of the best forwards in the game in Robert Lewandowski. Their opponents tonight (Slovenia) are not on the same level as Poland, and with only 6 goals scored in their last 10 games in all competitions they don't pose a particularly big goal threat. This being an international friendly though, does give it a higher level of uncertainty, and with Slovenia's key player being Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak, defensive stubbornness could be a possibility, which is why the draw is covered in this selection even though on paper Poland should win.
