Our first selection (Fiorentina) are playing better than their league position would indicate, however they have struggled for goals this season. It was tempting to choose either of Juventus or Napoli today instead, however they are playing each other in just 3 days which may serve as a big distraction, so my hunch is that Fiorentina could be the safer selection. On top of that, Fiorentina's opponents today (Crotone) would be considered by most as the weakest team in the league this season, with only 1 point so far after 9 league games. Crotone have lost all 5 of their away league games this season, scoring only 3 goals yet conceding 11, and are heavily fancied to lose again today against Fiorentina. Fiorentina are unbeaten at home and yet to concede a single goal, however they have only scored 2 goals in their 4 home games. They did however score 5 goals in their last match which will have definitely boosted their confidence coming into this game, and therefore I expect a Fiorentina win tonight, probably to nil, and they should be able to find the net a couple of times.

Our second selection (Ostersunds) are a newly promoted team this season, however they have been playing some really good football, heavy on possession and creating lots of chances, especially when they have home advantage. Despite them being newly promoted, no team would look forward to facing them on their home ground, where they have 8 wins, 1 draw, and 4 losses, with 3 of those losses coming against top 3 sides. Their opponents today (Hammarby) are a mid-table team with a decent away record, although all of their away wins have come against teams in the bottom 6 places, and none of whom are as strong at home as Ostersunds. Ostersunds have already managed a strong draw away from home at Hammarby this season, so with home advantage, they should be looking to come away with at least a draw this time.
