So far this season they remain unbeaten at home, having won 4 of their 5 home games, with the remaining game being drawn, and this includes wins against good teams like Club Brugge and Gent. Their opponents tonight (Kortrijk) are also strong at home, but their away record is far less impressive, with 1 win, 1 draw, and 3 losses, scoring only 5 goals yet conceding 10. What makes their away record even less impressive though is the fact that their only points so far were both against teams who had a player sent off in the first 20 minutes, so against 11 men away from home, they have played 3 and lost 3. With the draw covered in this selection, and home advantage appearing to be a huge factor in this match, this selection should have a good level of safety.
Our second selection (Troyes) were relegated from the top division last season and they struggled early on this season in Ligue 2, however they appear to have now found a better level of form and consistency. They are unbeaten in their last 5 league games, winning their last 3, and they have scored 8 goals and conceded only 4 in those last 5 games, keeping clean sheets in their last 2 games, so confidence should be pretty good at the moment. Their opponents tonight (Bourg Peronnas) had one of the poorest away records last season, winning just 3 of their 19 away games and conceding more goals than they scored, and this season isn't much improved, with just 1 away win in 5 so far. Bourg Peronnas have however tightened their defence away from home, but when scoring less than 1 goal per away game it's difficult to see them winning away from home, and with the draw covered there should once again be a good level of safety in this selection.
