Those of you who have followed our site for a while will know my thoughts on this competition, i feel it's often a bit of a lottery, very unpredictable and that is why i'm going for goals today and posting as just a suggestion. Having said that, i think both of today's selections should stand a great chance of scoring 2 or more goals tonight.
Feyenoord are nearly always involved in high scoring games, for example their first 5 league games this season have contained a total of 17 goals, which is an average of 3.4 goals per game. Whilst their opponents tonight (Man Utd) certainly have some attacking threat these days, with the likes of Ibrahimovic leading the attack, and will be strongly expected to score at least once tonight being favourites.
Then we look at our other selection and Young Boys games seem to contain a lot of goals every time, with their league games so far this season averaging a massive 4.3 goals per game, and when at home the average is even higher, 5 goals per game. Their opponents tonight are also no stranger to goals, with 7 being scored in their first league game of their domestic season, 6 of which were scored by themselves.
So in summary, both these selections should contain goals, and goals should certainly be safer than trying to pick winners in this unpredictable competition.
