These matches can be found in the Champions League.
Our first selection (Dortmund) have lost some key players (Mkhitaryan, Hummels, Gundogan) over the summer, however they have made some strong additions with the likes of Gotze, Dembele, Rode, Guerreiro, and Schurrle so will still be expected to be a force in this tournament. They haven't started the season firing on all cylinders but it does take a certain amount of time for new signings to gel together, so they should keep improving over the next few games. Their opponents tonight (legia) are one of the rank outsiders and haven't reached this stage of Europe’s top competition since 95/96, so there is a big gap in quality between both teams. On top of that, Legia have started their domestic season very poorly, picking up just 3 draws and 1 loss from their first 4 home league games. On paper this should be a convincing win for Dortmund.
Our second selection (Real Madrid) are the defending Champions League winners and are once again one of the big favourites to win the tournament. They have an abundance of quality throughout their squad, have a formidable home record, and have won all 3 of their league games so far this season. On top of that, their star player (one of many) Ronaldo is back from injury and will be looking to add to his already impressive Champions League goals record. Their opponents tonight (Sporting) have also started their domestic league impressively, with 4 wins from 4 games, however they have lost some key players over the summer, like their top scorer last season Islam Slimami. Sporting will definitely put up a fight, but Real Madrid at home with numerous star players are still likely to comfortably win this game.
