Our first selection (Bayern Munich) are one of the main favourites for the tournament along with Barcelona, and tonight they are up against one of the rank outsiders ( FK Rostov) who are making their debut in the Champions league this season. Bayern have started this season very impressively, winning their first 4 games in all competitions, scoring 15 goals and conceding 0. Their opponents FK Rostov have looked impressive at home this season (winning 3 and drawing 1), however they have lost both of their away league games so far this season, and those were against teams who are not in the same class as bayern Munich, so to get anything out of this visit to Bayern Munich will be extremely difficult. Expect a convincing home win for Bayern tonight.

Our second selection (Man City) have started the season very impressively, winning all 4 of their league games so far, which included beating Man Utd at Old Trafford, and they dominated Steaua Bucharest in their Champions League Qualifier. Pep Guardiola has definitely made Man City into a force this season, and they will have their star striker Sergio Aguero available and well rested for this match as he is currently suspended domestically. Their opponents tonight (Borussia Monchengladbach) have also started their domestic season well with a win over Bayer Leverkusen, however they disappointingly lost away from home to newly promoted Freiburg in their last match, and visiting Man City certainly won't be any easier. Man City have a different mentality now, a winning mentality, and i expect another Man City win tonight.
