Our first selection (Fram) are only a couple of positions and only 4 points ahead of today's opponents (kopavogur) in the Iceland 1 Deild, however this game should be largely influenced by home advantage. When playing at home Fram have 5 wins, 2 draws, and 2 losses, scoring 13 goals and conceding 10, whereas Kopavogur away from home have 1 win, 3 draws, and 5 losses, scoring 13 goals also but conceding a massive 23, so home advantage clearly have a big influence over outcome. On top of that, Fram have won 5 of the last 6 times Kopavogur have visited, so with the draw covered in today's selection, it should stand a good chance.
Our second selection (Netherlands) have picked up their spirits since their disappointment of not qualifying for Euro 2016. They have had good wins against Austria and Poland this summer and seem to be moving in an upwards direction. Compare that to Greece who finished bottom of a Euro 2016 qualification group that contained the likes of Faroe Islands, Finland, and Northern Ireland, and seem to be in a downwards spiral. Netherlands have also been in good goal scoring form, scoring 2 or more goals in 7 of their last 8 games, and it could well be that 1 goal is enough to beat Greece tonight, which should give Netherlands a very good chance.
