Our first selection (Man Utd) have made a good start to the new Premier League season, having said that, so have Hull City, with both teams winning their first two games. The key difference though is that one team is probably overachieving at the moment, where as the other probably haven't hit the level they can once the new signings all start to gel together. Man Utd haven't signed a load of new players, but what they have signed are match winners of the highest quality, in the likes of Ibrahimovic and Pogba, and not forgetting Mourinho of course. It's these match winning qualities that should be able to get them past a team who are high on confidence and form. I expect a fairly tight start, but Man Utd's quality should take charge as the game continues into the later stages.
Our second selection (Real Madrid) are one of the best clubs in the world, and their form at home last season was stunning, winning 16 of their 19 home league games, and scoring a massive 70 goals in the process, which is over 3.5 goals per game on average. In their last home game against today's opponents Celta Vigo, they won 7-1 thanks to 4 goals from Ronaldo. Now Ronaldo won't be playing today, however with the likes of Bale amongst many others, they should have more than enough talent to win again. Celta Vigo are not a bad team however, but generally speaking you just expect Real Madrid to comfortably win at home every time unless they are up against Barca or Atl Madrid.
