Our first selection (Man City) are favourites for the Premier League title this season, and it's understandable to see why. They have what many consider to be the worlds top manager in Pep Guardiola, along with (as always) many millions at his disposal to build the best team possible. They have clearly the strongest squad in the Premier League even though some would say they already had the strongest squad even before spending £150 million this summer, and to top it off, they also have home advantage tomorrow. Their opponents today (Sunderland) just escaped relegation last season, managing only 3 away wins in the process. They also have a new manager, David Moyes, who has a point to prove after unsuccessful spells at Man Utd and Real Sociedad, however his teams are often very negative against the top 4 teams. I expect a dominant performance from City, and most likely a comfortable win.
Our second selection (Limerick) will be looking to clinch the SSE Airtricity First Division championship with a victory over Cabinteely FC today. They have been totally dominant this season, winning most games by large margins, averaging over 3 goals per game, and still remaining undefeated in the league. Limerick have no major injury worries or suspensions and a fully fit squad to choose from ahead of the match on Saturday. They have already beaten today's opponents (Cabinteely) twice this season without conceding, and Cabinteely's form doesn't indicate any upset happening today. Cabinteely have lost their last 10 away games in all competitions, and most of which by a 2 or more goal margin. This should be a big win for Limerick, expect a high scoring victory.
