Our first selection (Limerick) have already beaten today's opponents (Athlone) 5-0 away from home, and 3-0 with home advantage this season. They are the runaway leaders, gaining a 19 point lead after only 17 games, with 16 wins and 1 draw, scoring a massive 65 goals in those 17 games. So on paper they are more than capable of convincingly beating any opponent the Ireland Div 1 has to offer. This game should be another goal fest, which is why i nearly did "Over 2.5 goals", however Limerick did only win 2-0 away to Cabinteely. Therefore, just in case Athlone try to park the bus and stop the goal difference getting too bad, i thought it safer to go for a "-1.5 asian handicap" as i see Limerick being able to get a couple of goals at least, and i think as shown in their previous two meetings, it's unlikely Athlone will score today.
Our second selection (SK Brann) have a formidable home record, with 6 wins, 1 draw, and 0 losses so far this season, scoring 10 goals yet conceding only 1. If you compare that to Aalesund's away record of 1 win, 1 draw, and 6 losses, scoring only 5 goals yet conceding a massive 15, you would obviously come to the conclusion SK Brann are likely winners today. However you can also add to that, that SK Brann have won the last 3 times these two teams have met in the league, and Aalesund will also be without 2 of their key attackers through suspension, which makes an already limited attack even more limited. SK Brann aren't heavy goal scorers, however they don't concede many, so a 1-0 or 2-0 win to SK Brann would be no surprise to me.
