Our first selection (FC Astana) drew their first leg 0-0 away from home against FK Zalgiris Vilnius, although they probably just about edged the overall balance of play. Therefore with home advantage, they should certainly be the stronger team today, especially as their home stadium uses artificial turf, which would normally give a big advantage over most teams, although i think FK Zalgiris Vilnius's home stadium might also be artificial turf. FC Astana are very strong at home though, with 11 wins and 1 draw from their last 12 games in all competitions, and on the whole i would say that the quality of the Kazakhstan League is superior to the Lithuania League, although neither league are high quality. Also, FK Zalgiris Vilnius haven't been brilliant away from home, with 4 wins, 1 draw, and 3 losses from their 8 away league games so far this season. FC Astana should have enough to win this match today.
Our second selection (1st half goal line - Over 1) first of all must not be confused with "total 1st half goals - over 1.5". So this is the David and Goliath round 2, David won the first leg 1-0 but that surely can't happen again. Celtic are at home today, and simply put, they should annihilate a team of semi-professionals, which Lincoln Red Imps FC are. Being 1-0 down, Celtic have to start the game on the attack, and surely they can score at least 1 goal in the first half. Even though this was a massive upset last week, i just can't see it happening again, therefore this should be a big win for Celtic, with a lot of goals.
