These matches can be found in the Champions League Qualifiers and the Finland Veikkausliiga.

Our first selection (Dundalk) are the Champions of Ireland and current leaders of the Ireland Premier Division. They are incredibly strong when playing at home and are clearly the strongest team in Ireland. The tricky thing with games like this is trying to judge how strong they are against a team from a different league, in this case Hafnarfjordur from Iceland. Now i doubt there is much difference between the two leagues in terms of quality, however as we saw with Celtic yesterday, even teams in a far weaker league can pull off a big surprise in games like these. This is why i'm sticking to the home teams today as home advantage can play an even larger influence when the travelling team has to play in a different country. I'm expecting not a huge difference in quality between these two teams, however with the draw covered and our selection having home advantage, it should stand a good chance of coming in.

Our second selection (VPS) play in the Finland Veikkausliiga and sit just above mid table. This is mainly due to their strong home form as their away form has been pretty poor. At home they have 5 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss, scoring 10 goals and conceding only 2 in the process, and they are currently the most in form team in the whole league based on the last 5 games. Their opponents today (PK-35 Vantaa) are newly promoted and struggling with the increased standard, sitting bottom of the league with just 3 wins in 15 games. They are managing to pose an attacking threat, however their defence is letting in a lot of goals, and this is the main reason they are struggling so much this season. With VPS being so strong at home and the draw being covered, that should also give this selection a very good chance of winning.
