Afraid my hand has been forced a bit on this one. I wanted to use the Waterford v Limerick game, however Bet365 don't appear to be offering this match. I have contacted them, and they say that because they won't have in-play coverage of the game they can't offer any options for the game pre-match. This is very unexpected considering i'm pretty sure they have covered all of Waterford's and Limerick's matches this season. Anyway, this means my second choice double is posted for today, so bet with more caution as this isn't my ideal choice.
Our first selection (Bohemians) have been in great form recently since ending a very poor run. Their last 4 league matches have contained 3 wins and 1 draw, which even included a 5-1 thrashing of St Patricks. They are still not the greatest attacking threat, however their defence has definitely improved, and with home advantage, that should make them a difficult team for Bray to beat tonight. Bray's form has also picked up recently however their form away from home just doesn't inspire, managing just 1 goal in 8 away league games, scoring only 2 points in the process. I think Bray will provide a bigger challenge than if this game had been played a couple of months ago, but with Bohemians being in good form and high in confidence, and having home advantage, Bohemians should be able to get at least a draw.
Our second selection (UCD over 1.5 goals) should stand a decent chance. UCD are one of the higher scoring teams in the Ireland Div 1, and they have been in very impressive form recently. Before playing Limerick in their last match, they were on a 4 game winning streak in the league, and they have scored 2 or more goals in each of their last 6 games in all competitions. However, possibly an even bigger reason UCD are likely to score a couple of goals is because Cabinteely's defence has conceded a lot of goals, in particular away from home where they have conceded 18 goals in just 7 games. Only one team hasn't managed to score more than 1 goal when Cabinteely have visited this season, and in their last 7 games in all competitions, they have conceded a total of 23 goals. This wasn't my first choice double but it should still stand a decent chance.
