Our first selection (Bohemians) went though a terrible patch of form from mid April to mid May where they suffered 5 defeats and 1 draw in 6 games, not managing to score a single goal. However since their 2-0 Cup win against tonight's opponents (Galway), they have gone from strength to strength, with a massive 5-1 win against St Patricks, and a strong 1-0 away win against Wexford. They appear to have hit some form, and their confidence as a result is high. In contrast, Galway started the season well, with 5 wins, 2 draws, and 2 losses in their first 9 games, however recently their form has dipped and have only managed 1 win (against Bray), 2 draws, and 3 losses in their last 6 games. In recent history (just over a year) the home team usually comes out on top in this match-up, with 5 of 6 match-ups dating back to March 2015 being won by the home team. With Bohemians confidence being high and having home advantage, this selection should stand a good chance, especially with the draw covered for that extra bit of security.

Our second selection (Goal line over 2) should stand a good chance as both teams are usually involved in high scoring games this season. Shelbourne's games average 3.2 goals and have contained 2 or more goals in 10 of 13 occasions so far this season, which is fairly impressive, however not when you look at their opponents stats. Waterford's games average a massive 4.5 goals per game and every one of their 12 games has contained 2 or more goals, in fact 11 of their 12 games have even contained 3 or more goals, which should give this selection a very good chance. On top of that, Waterford's last 4 away games in all competitions have contained a whopping 26 goals (6.5 goals per game). Goals selections can often be unpredictable but both these teams have the ability to score and concede fairly freely, therefore on paper this selection should be highly likely.
