Our first selection (Germany) will be looking to win their group in order to get an easier draw in the next round. Despite only drawing against Poland, they were still the dominant team, and i think Northern Ireland will have their work cut out trying to keep the German players from scoring today. Northern Ireland did very well against the Ukraine, however the Ukraine have shown little going forward and Germany will be a far bigger threat. Expect a one sided game of attacking dominance from Germany, with wave after wave of attack, which should lead to at least 1 goal and a Germany win.
Our second selection (Poland) have been very strong defensively in this tournament, and are yet to concede a goal. They were recognised as normally being involved in fairly high scoring games, however their last 3 games have been very tight, which is why we have covered the draw today. They have one of the worlds best strikers in Lewandowski, who might well try and use this game against a struggling Ukraine defence to find some goal scoring form. Of course they would also like to try and win the group ahead of Germany so will be looking for the win but i expect without taking too many risks in the process. The Ukraine have struggled in their first 2 games, they have looked devoid of ideas up front and i think Poland will be too strong for them today.
