Monday's Double Suggestion!

Our doubles appear to be coming back into form, with yesterday's win making it 3 double wins from the last 4 (including suggestions). I've decided to post this double as just a suggestion again due to one of the selections being a friendly match, so if you're in any doubt, just wait for the next official "Tipster's Double".

Our first selection (Halmstad) have a chance to move back to the top of the table today if they can beat bottom of the league Syrianska. Halmstad have had a very good start to the season, winning 7 of their 10 league matches, and conceding only 4 goals in the process. They have however had one surprise home defeat to Degerfors this season, which is why i've added some caution to this selection by covering the draw. On paper we shouldn't really need to cover the draw, their opponents (Syrianska) have just 2 points from their first 5 away league games, giving them the poorest away record in the league. I think Syrianska are better than their league position suggest though, after all they have conceded around half the number of goals that Degerfors and Angelholms have conceded, but they are still struggling and are very unlikely to have what it takes to beat Halmstad.

Our second selection (Poland) were the highest scoring team during the Euro 2016 qualification stage with 33 goals in 10 games, although it does help having Gibraltar in their group, who conceded 56 goals in their 10 games. They did still outscore Germany though, who were in the same qualification group, and it was largely down to the lethal form of Lewandowski who managed 13 of their 33 goals. Poland's opponents today (Lithuania) are one of the weaker international teams, and have only managed wins against Sam Marino and Estonia in their last 20 games. Lithuania are not used to playing teams of Poland's quality, and i think Poland will have far too much attacking threat for them. 2 goals for Poland in this match should be more than achievable.
