Yesterday brought us straight back to winning ways, and although today's double is selected from the lower leagues of Norway, i still think it stands a decent chance. However, due to the reduced quality in these leagues, and therefore the reduced predictability, I'm once again going to have to stick to posting this double as just a suggestion, so if you're in any doubt, just wait for the next official "Tipster's Double".

Our first selection (
Asane) are having a good start to the season, sitting in 5th with 3 wins, 2 draws, and just 1 narrow loss, with an impressive goals ratio of 9 for and only 3 against. They have even managed an impressive 3-0 win against 2nd place team Kongsvinger, and defensively they have looked very good this season, keeping 4 clean sheets in their first 6 games. Their opponents tonight (Ull/Kisa) are newly promoted from Div 2 Group 3, and appear to be struggling with the step up in quality. They have managed just 2 points from their first 6 games, scoring only 6 goals but conceding a rather large 11 goals.
Having developed some good confidence and self belief from their first few games this season, Asane with home advantage should have too much for an Ull/Kisa team who is struggling against the higher quality opposition of this league. Therefore, with the draw covered, this should be a pretty safe selection.
Our second selection (
Mjondalen) were relegated from the top division in Norway last season, and although they weren't up to the standard of the top flight, over 70% of their points came whilst playing at home, and that trend appears to be continuing this season also. So far this season, they are unbeaten at home, with 1 win and 2 draws, scoring 6 goals and conceding 4, and those three games included two against top 4 teams, however their away record is 3 very poor defeats. Their opponents tonight (Fredrikstad) have made a poor start to the season, they just avoided relegation last season, and they are already 2nd from bottom this season, with their only win coming against bottom of the league Ull/Kisa. There doesn't appear to be much between these two teams, but i think home advantage for Mjondalen will be a big factor, it will put them on the front foot, and they will probably looking at this game as a good opportunity for 3 points. Once again, with the draw covered, this selection should also stand a decent chance.
