The tricky fixtures look to be carrying on into this week, which is making it difficult to select a double which has a really safe feel about it. Our first selection should be very comfortable, however our second selection carries a little more risk, which is why this double is just a suggestion. Our first selection (Tottenham) is an obvious choice, currently one of the strongest teams in the English Premier League, desperately in need of the win, with home advantage, playing a team with not much to play for now they are pretty much safe from the threat of relegation. There also has to be a question mark over the mind set of Berahino for this match. Will West Brom's biggest goal threat think twice about playing his best against the team he may well like to play for next season? Especially if him scoring could jeopardise Tottenham's chances of winning the title. Regardless of how Berahino approaches this game though, Tottenham have massive incentive and the quality to win, and i expect the West Brom players may have taken their foot off the gas a bit now.
Our second selection (Haugesund) have been playing some good football this season, but the under performing Stabaek do still have some quality which makes this selection more dangerous than i would like. Haugesund have been fielding a slightly unusual 3-5-2 formation this season, but it appears to be working well for them, and i expect them to play on the from foot at home. Their only losses this season were away to a strong at home Stromsgodset, where red cards influenced the result, and away to Sogndal where Haugesund were unlucky not to get something out of it. Stabaek's main problem this season has been scoring, as i said earlier, they do have some quality, but they are not performing to their best, and Haugesund have a good opportunity to take advantage of that.
