Some really interesting games tonight with the Champions League and FA Cup ties, however i will be avoiding all of them as i feel they are very difficult to call and am going for a couple of more obscure games as they just look a lot more predictable to me. This is only a Double Suggestions however, so if you have any doubts, just wait for the next official "Tipster's Double".
Double:
K Almaty v Shakhtar K -
Goal line (Over 2)Trakai v Suduva -
Draw no bet (Trakai)N.B. Our first selection kicks off at 2.30pm UK time.
At time of posting, odds were 1.90
These matches can be found in the Kazakhstan League and the Lithuanian Cup.
Our first selection (Goal line - Over 2) has a good chance of a number of goals in this game. K Almaty were the leagues highest goal scorers last year with 60 in 32 league games, and conveniently Shakhtar K conceded more goals than any other team last season. So far this season Shakhtar K have carried on last seasons trend of conceding goals (7 conceded from first 4 games), but K Almaty are yet to get their scoring boots on, which is probably why this bet is better value than i expected. The thing is, all of K Almaty's first 4 games this season have been away from home, which could well explain partly why they aren't as high in the league as many would have expected. With this being their first home game, and against weak opposition, i'm expecting a convincing win to climb up the table. I think 2 or more goals should be very safe, and i expect at least 2 goals just from K Almaty alone.
Our second selection (Trakai) are one of the stronger side in Lithuanian football, they finished runners up last season, and this season they sit in second place currently also. They are generally very strong at home, with just 1 loss at home for the whole of last season, and that was against Champions Zalgiris. So far this season, they have played only 6 games, but already have 5 wins, with the 1 loss coming against Zalgiris again. Their opponents today (Sudova) won 2, drawn 2, and lost 2 so far this season, and sit mid-table. The last 5 head2head matches between these two teams have ended with wins for Trakai on each occasion, and with this fixture being a Cup semi final, there should be no complacency. Trakai will be expecting to win today, and certainly should have more than enough quality to get at least a draw.
