Friday's Double Suggestion!

8th April 2015

We're on a great run 6 consecutive official "Tipster's Double" wins, and 8 wins from the last 9, however I'm going back to the Double Suggestions today as i don't quite have the level of confidence on these selections that i would like for an official "Tipster's Double". Now we've actually won a lot of our recent Double Suggestions, but if you have any doubts, just wait for the next official "Tipster's Double".

Double:
Cork city v Wexford - Goal line (Over 2)
Drogheda v Limerick - Asian handicap (-1 Limerick)

At time of posting, odds were 1.98

These matches can be found in the Ireland Leagues.

Our first selection (Goal line - Over 2) should be a match with good goals potential. Cork City away from home would definitely be a team to avoid for a bet like this, however when playing at home they offer far more attacking potential, scoring 8 goals from just 2 home games so far this season. Last season was just the same, their away matches contained on average the lowest number of goals per game (1.9 goals per game), however at home their games averaged 3.1 goals, and Cork City themselves on average scored more than 2 goals per home game. Their opponents tonight (Wexford) are yet to be involved in a game this season which hasn't contained 2 or more goals. Away from home they have conceded 2 or more goals in both of their games this season, and their last 10 straight matches in all competitions have all contained 2 or more goals. Cork are likely winners tonight, but Wexford play some decent football which makes them dangerous, so thought 2 or more goals would be the safer of the bets.

Our second selection (Limerick) are dominating the Ireland Div 1 at the moment, winning their first 5 games by at least a 3 goal margin. Of course this amazing goal scoring and winning run will have to come to an end at some point, but while their are no obvious signs of frailty, it would be silly not to back them based on their current form. Their opponents tonight (Drogheda) are coming off an impressive 4-0 win themselves, however they along with every other team in this league look to be quite a long way behind Limerick in terms of quality, and the last time this fixture was played in Aug 2015, Limerick won 4-1. From what i've read, their are no major injury concerns for both teams, so it comes down to whether Drogheda can stop Limerick from destroying them along with every other team they've played so far this season, and current form suggests it's unlikely.
