Sunday's Double Suggestion!

27th Mar 2016

After having such a great week of wins for the doubles, yesterday's results were very disappointing. However, that's in the past, and hopefully today can get us straight back to another good winning run. Due to the limited fixtures today, this is just a double suggestion, so if you have any doubts, just wait for the next official "Tipster's Double".

Double:
San Marino U21 v Sweden U21 - Match result / BTTS (Sweden U21 / No)
Romania v Spain - Draw no bet (Spain)

At time of posting, odds were 1.85

These matches can be found in the European U21 Championship Qualifiers, and the International friendlies.

I could only find this double at Titanbet, which i know may not suit a lot of you, but they are worth joining as they offer a £100 deposit bonus, and they offer a great loyalty bonus on doubles like these.

On to our previews. Our first selection (Sweden U21 / No) actually offers very generous odds i think. It's virtually 100% certain Sweden U21 will win today, and it's also very likely they won't concede a goal. So far in their qualifying campaign, Sweden U21 have won 3 and drawn 1 (against Spain U21), and in those 4 games they have scored 10 goals and conceded only 1, giving them the best defence in the group. Their opponents by contrast have played 7, drawing 1 and losing the remaining 6, scoring just 1 goal and conceding a massive 19, which gives them the poorest defence in the group. Their only draw and goal have both come against Estonia U21, who are the next worst team in the group. Sweden U21 have already beaten San Marino U21 3-0 once during this groups games, and i see no reason why they can't do the same or even score more this time. I don't believe San Marino U21 have the quality to break Sweden U21's solid defence, and i think Sweden U21 will be able win easily today.

Our second selection (Draw no bet - Spain) should be very safe. We all know Spain are a quality side, they may not be the team of old, but they are still one of the worlds elite sides, and are on a great 8 game unbeaten run since losing to the Netherlands a year ago, conceding only 2 goals in those 8 games. Actually, their opponents today (Romania) are on an even better unbeaten run of 16 games, dating back to the middle of 2014, however their opponents haven't been the level of quality they will face tonight against Spain. Romania's success has been based on being difficult to break down as they are defensively very strong, however i'm not sure they will have too much attacking threat to trouble Spain too much. I think this could be a low scoring game, and Romania could prove stubborn resistance, but i think Spain should break through eventually as they will dominate possession and keep testing Romania's defence throughout the 90 minutes, and with the draw being covered, this selection should be very safe.
