These matches can be found in the France and Netherlands Leagues.
Our first selection (Nimes) are a better team than their league position would suggest, if they didn't have an 8 point deduction they would sit safely in the middle of the French Ligue 2. As it happens, that may well work to our advantage as they have good incentive to win games still, due to being only 4 points off the relegation zone thanks to that deduction in points. At home they have a pretty strong record, with 6 wins, 8 draws, and just 1 loss, and that home record is more impressive recently, with 4 wins and 1 draw in their last 5, scoring 12 goals and conceding 5 in the process. They have beaten tonights opponents (Creteil) 2-1 away from home already this season, so there is no reason they can't repeat that with home advantage tonight. Creteil concede a lot of goals away from home, more than any other team in the league (29 in 15 away games), and their recent form is terrible, with 0 wins, 7 draws, and 8 losses in their last 15 league games, scoring only 12 goals yet conceding 26. Given that Creteil haven't won any game since October, and Nimes haven't lost a home game since November, it would be extremely unlucky if this selection was to lose tonight, especially given the draw is covered.
Our second selection (Helmond Sport v Almere City FC - Goal line over 2) should be very likely also. These two teams are often involved in high scoring matches, with Helmond's games averaging 3.2 goals per game this season, and Almere's averaging 3.7 goals per this season. In their last 5 games alone, Helmond's contained 19 goals, and Almere's contained an even more impressive 23, and the last time these two met this season, the game finished 2-2. Overall for the season, Helmond's games have contained 2 or more goals 83% of the time, and Almere's games 86% of the time. On top of that, Almere are going through a spell of good form, scoring 14 goals in their last 5 games, where as Helmond have conceded 13 in their last 5, so there is a good chance that Almere may be able to make this selection safe without even the need for Helmond to score one themselves. With their recent high scoring games, it would be very unfortunate if this game ended up being cagey and tactical.
