These matches can be found in the Ireland and Denmark Leagues.
Our first selection (Dundalk) are defending League Champions after winning the Ireland Premier League the last two seasons. They have already got off to a great start, and looked impressive in their first two games this season, winning both of them comfortably, scoring 3 goals in each game. They have the strongest squad in the league and a very dangerous midfield that are very capable of creating and scoring goals. Today's opponents (Wexford) are newly promoted and despite playing some good football, have started the season poorly, with 2 straight defeats without managing to score a goal. They do carry some threat going forward however, and like to play attacking football, and maybe this is what has been their downfall at this increased level, as they are being caught out defensively. If they leave too many holes at the back against Dundalk, they will be punished. You could find Wexford try and tighten things up a bit in this game, given the quality of their opponents, however i think Dundalk will end up on top in this match.
Our second selection (Midtjylland) are last seasons Denmark Superliga Champions but have been going through a tough patch of form recently. However their opponents (Hobro) generally are always on a poorer run of form at any point this season, so this is a great opportunity to get back to winning ways. We've seen what Midtjylland are capable of when the beat Manchester Utd 2-1 this season, so despite that being a surprising result, they do have some quality. Hobro on the other hand have really struggled this season, 11 points adrift at the bottom of the table, 7 less goals scored than any other team, 5 more goals conceded than any other team, and 9 losses from 11 away games, conceding 27 goals in the process. The last time they won a league game away from home was at the beginning of August, and with 0 wins home or away since the end of October, i can't see any reason for that run to end today. Midtjylland should have too much quality and it would be a massive surprise if this match didn't end in a home win.
