The Europa League fixtures are about the best options available today, and they are notoriously unpredictable, therefore I am posting this double as just a suggestion, so if you have any doubts, just wait for the next official "Tipster's Double".
Double:
Sparta Prague v Lazio - Double chance (Draw or Lazio)
Fenerbahce v Braga - Draw no bet (Fenerbahce)
At time of posting, odds were 1.99
These matches can be found in the Europa League.
Our first selection (Lazio) are having a disappointing season considering they finish 3rd in the Italian Serie A last season. This season they are currently in 8th position, with a 13 point gap to a Europa League qualification spot, therefore i would expect them to now focus a lot more on tonight's game than maybe they would have done if they were fighting domestically for a Champions League spot. Despite their poor season, they remain unbeaten in the Europa league and are one of the stronger teams left in the competition. Their opponents tonight (Sparta Prague) are also unbeaten in the Europa League, and also domestically when playing at home, however the Czech League isn't the strongest, and certainly wouldn't be considered as strong as the Italian Serie A. Sparta are obviously very strong at home but so are Chelsea, and look what PSG did to them. You would have to give the advantage in quality to Lazio, and with them being able to focus more on this competition now, i think they will be a much more difficult test compared to the teams Sparta are use to playing at home. A draw wouldn't surprise me, and a win or draw for Lazio is all we need tonight so this should stand a decent chance.
Our second selection (Fenerbahce) are currently top of the Turkish Super League and unbeaten at home domestically, with 10 wins and 2 draws from 12 home league matches. They aren't a team that often annihilates opponents, they are dangerous in attack and solid defensively, and they seem to simply do what is required to win, and they are very effective at it. Their opponents tonight (Braga) are just outside that Portuguese top 3 that a lot of people are familiar with, and that is largely because of their away form. On the road they seem to have a lot of trouble scoring goals; their defence is pretty strong, however with only 12 goals scored in 13 away league matches (less than 1 goal per game), they are not the most dangerous opponent on the road. Personally i don't think there is too much difference in the quality of their domestic leagues, maybe the top 3 in Portugal edge it, but there isn't much in it. So to have the top Turkish side at home to a Portuguese side just outside of that top 3 group, you would have to favour the home team. With the draw covered, i think this selection should be pretty safe.
