Our first selection (Goal line - Under 5) is not the kind of selection i usually look for, but i'm looking to get this challenge off to as safe a start as possible, and Barcelona are certain to have one eye on their Champions League match against Arsenal in 3 days. Also, not a single Barcelona away game this season has contained more than 5 goals, and 6 or more goals will be what is required for this selection to lose. In fact, Barcelona's away games this season only average 2.6 goals, combine that with the fact they may well rest some key players today, a 6+ goal match looks very unlikely. I think they will just be looking to get 3 points and go home, without having to exert themselves too much. As it happens, Barca's opponents today are also very good defensively when playing at home, only conceding 11 goals in 12 home games. All in all, this should be a very safe selection.
Our second selection (Goal line - Over 2) should also stand a very good chance. Salzburg may not be the force they once were a couple of seasons ago, but they are still a force, especially when playing at home. They have been known for simply outscoring their opponents, and even if they received a red card, you would still feel confident they could get a couple of goals. They aren't quite as strong these days but they do still score goals freely at home, averaging nearly 3 goals per game, which always gives them a good chance of winning. Their opponents today (Altach) have lost 7 of their 11 away games this season, conceding nearly 2 goals per game in the process, so Salzburg should get plenty of goal scoring opportunities. When playing at home, every one of Salzburg's games this season have contained 2 or more goals, and away from home, each one of Altach's games have contained 2 or more goals this season. Therefore, this should be a high scoring game, with most of the goals coming from Salzburg.
